| Welcome | . | Monotypes
A monotype is considered a print because the final image is achieved
by the artist using a printing process. But it is also an individual work
of art and each print is unique. I first painted these images with ink
on clear acetate. I then placed the acetate on the press bed with
damp paper over it. As I ran it through the press at about 1000 pounds
of pressure, the image was transferred to the paper. These two works
are on Twin Rocker paper with a large feather deckle.
